These are members of our crew that while not
actively showing or breeding, are a BIG part of our lives and we felt it was
only right to showcase them as well.
In pink is one of Mellisa's favorite poems about
passing. As most of these guys have passed away taking a big part of
our hearts with them.
I give you this one thought to keep~ I am with you still~ I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush, This is Monty, our Saint Bernard. I am the swift, uplifting rush, Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone~ I am with you still~ in each new dawn.
-Native American Prayer
He is so patient with all the pets and loves kittens. Here Mickey stole Monty's biscuit.
The original naughty Greyhound, the Amazing Zach.
Mellisa's Oriental, Ellis.
Al and Louis, a couple of shelter boys, wanted in on
the pictures too!
Sammi, an Eclectus hen.
Haley, Mellisa's pride and joy. She is an Umbrella Cockatoo hen.
Kipling, one of Linda's original color points.
Sabaka, the grand matriarch.
